She is running around in circles
Trying to shed this weight of the world- and that’s an awfully large task for such a little girl.
She can’t remember the last time she felt she looked her best- but you better believe the world will make her feel like LESS.
She is doing a human chin up, trying to make it to the top
She feels her muscles tire and her body starts to ache
With sweat burning in her eyes she won’t allow herself to stop
Because everywhere she looks she sees what she SHOULD BE- this impossible self portrait imposed by “her” society.
Just one bite of control
Just one slice of her own life
Just a quick taste of what it would be like to be thin- to feel it for herself- to feel it from within.
She knows deep inside this madness has got to end- how many days will she have to spend?
She gives her mirror the once, twice over. Decides today just isn’t the day.
How can she give up now? She has come such a long way.
She could be happy, she could walk taller.
If only she could make herself a little bit

Smashbox Photo Op 78 Shade Mega Palette how I love thee. The colors are there, the quality is there and the tons of looks are there. Only down sides? It isn’t super easy to carry around with you and the blush shades dust off the palette easily and can get into the lip glosses below it. BUT- other than that you are a beautiful investment!
Super easy way to do a subtle glitter eye look- plus it is very inexpensive! Using Milani Crystal Eyes and NYX Glitter on the Go combine that with any ole coordinating base shadow you have and you’ll be sparkly as champagne!

Hello pretties. Sorry for my lack of tumblr fun in the recent months. (did any of ya’ll notice? ya hookers!) Work got extremely busy, as it usually does this time of year. And then one day I looked in the mirror and the sick feeling that had been lurking for some time finally surfaces. I wasn’t happy with my employment. I didn’t enjoy what I was doing. It didn’t feed my soul or really challenge me much.
So…I left. Last week. Gave notice, peaced out and tore the proverbial bandaid off.
In the days since it has been a bit like one of those breakups where you really do love the person but the relationship just isn’t going to work.
My former employers are fabulous. And now I can get back to being fabulous myself. This calls for false lashes and red lipstick!
Be aware!
Awareness is beautiful. Be beautiful today and give yourself the boobie check.
